| Assessment courses are typically of 3 - 12 hours duration depending on existing riding experience and grade required. Your instructor will explain the way the assessment is carried out and assess your existing skills. Training will then be given to improve areas of weakness in your riding. A final ride will then be assessed and certified by your instructor. The aim of this course is to reduce your risk of accident through rider education, making you a safer rider and better insurance risk. This will be rewarded by a reduced insurance premium, a guideline of which is shown below. |
