Advanced rider training courses
typically 6 -12 hours are designed to enhance the existing skills of
riders. The rider should already have a good level of technical and
riding skill. An 8 day European training holiday is also available
subject to a minimum of 6 riders, details on request. |

The aim of this level of training is to improve
the rider's ability to utilise the motorcycle in a competent and
safe manner, to realise the machine and rider capabilities and
to ride in a progressive manner whilst showing consideration for
other road users. At the end of the course the rider will be
able to: Implement 'Raodcraft' techniques -
Make safe progress - Use the
machine controls systematically - Improve the machine efficiency
- Maximise use of road position - Improve cornering and
overtaking ability - Adopt ride planning by improving hazard
perception. |

An insurance assessment can be conducted at the end of this course. with
the aim of achieving a Grade 2. For riders who wish to achieve a Grade
1 a Rospa advanced test pass at one of the top two grades would need to
be achieved. This may require further training and many hours of
practice. |

BIKE AND
EQUIPMENT FOR THESE COURSES. YOUR INSTRUCTOR WILL ASK FOR A
COPY OF YOUR LICENCE, INSURANCE AND WILL CHECK YOUR BIKE IS ROADWORTHY. |
